I have been finding quite a lot of absolute treasures on Ebay as late, as some of you will probably have heard me mention before. This week has been no different, so I have collected together a few of my favourite finds to share with you in this week's Weekend Favourite.
Now, unfortunately, some of these products are not at the best of prices, and one in particular would break the bank a little bit. However, just because I'm not going to be buying them myself, it doesn't mean you lovelies shouldn't have the chance to do so!
I love the studded pumps in all the colours, especially the mint ones, and the totem/baroque dress is just beautiful. As for the vintage bag, well, I would have snapped it up by now if my purse so permitted, but alas, it did not.
Excuse the small pictures please, but in larger size they were of rubbish quality, so here they are in all their tiny glory.
So, aside from these goodies, what can I tell you about my week?
Well, I have been very busy as I am soon going to be launching my own online shop, so I am hugely excited and equally nervous about that! I don't want to say too much about it at the moment, but as soon as I am ready to unveil it, which will hopefully be at the end of the month, then I will spill the beans and fill you in on it all!
This afternoon, the Mr and I went out for a lovely lunch and some Acai, and then came back and watched some of the Jubilee coverage on the TV. Bless the Queen, eighty-six and on her feet all day. She didn't seem to be smiling all that much, but then again, would you be, at her age, after standing in the rain watching boats going past for hours on end? Don't get me wrong, it's lovely that the nation is going all-out to throw her such an extravaganza of a celebration, but it must be a bit tiring for her. Still, if it hadn't rained then it wouldn't have been a very British celebration, would it? I love that we still have a monarchy though, as I think it's lovely that our country's history is still going so strong. It's something we often take for granted, but elsewhere in the world, it's something the UK is very much admired for!
Anyway, sadly there were no Pimms, cakes, scones or other quintessentially English fare involved in my afternoon, but at least the cups of tea were flowing! I would have loved to have had a party and covered everything in bunting and floral tablecloths and cute vintage china....maybe next time!?
Have you done anything to celebrate this weekend?
Did you do any Jubilee-themed nail art or put together a patriotic outfit?
xx
I actually forgot the jubilee was today - how bad is that!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the pumps, they're gorgeous in mint. Great finds, love finding things in eBay.
I replied to your comment on my blog but then I remembered there's no notification system but yeah the lipsticks are ruby woo by mac and innocent by topshop - my favs.
Thanks for following, glad to have found your blog xoxo
Yeah, it's annoying that there's no way to know if someone has replied without sifting back through blogs to check!
DeleteI love Ruby Woo, can't think what Innocent is like though, will have to google it and see! Mac and Topshop lipsticks are my favourites too, I can't get enough of Vegas Volt (Mac) and Infrared/Brighton Rock (TS).
Thanks for following too!
xx
you're like my mom -- always browsing ebay in her spare time! she finds the neatest things but never actually buys anything. like you, she's thinking of starting a small shop and selling vintage jewelery. we'll see how it goes! i can't wait to see what you'll be selling, though. i'll definately be a customer, fyi :)
ReplyDeletei've been following the coverage of The Queen as well. even over here in america we love her!
hope all is well!

Haha, well the problem is that I usually do end up buying stuff, but I'm trying to restrain myself for the time being as I need to save some pennies!
DeleteKeep me posted about your Mum's shop, would love to have a look if she creates a site!

Thanks hun :-)
DeleteI think it's such a shame that so many people aren't bothered about the Royal family, although it's funny how lots suddenly are where there's a bank holiday or a party involved!

I like the fact that you can just type in anything you want, even if it's an item you've just made up in your head, and they'll have it!xx
