Weekend Wishlist

I seem to have created bit of a Topshop Shrine this week, as scanning the New-in section, I found myself lusting after pretty much everything! If I was in-store, I'd happily buy up this little lot and then trot off home without the need to go elsewhere.
I'm a bit scared of the huge, chunky platforms, and I'm not sure that I could pull them off, as this kind of shoe can be somewhat unflattering to the legs. However, they are certainly pretty to look at, and in my book that certainly warrants a try-on at least.
My favourites this week are the two clutch bags, with laser cutwork and studs being two of my all-time favourite details when it comes to accessories. These two beauties are so different, but with their neutral colours I would always have a little bag on hand to suit every outfit.
You may have also noticed the L'oreal Lumi Magique Highlighting Pen has snuck it's way in amongst all the Topshop goodies. I had actually never considered trying this product, but after reading this review on 'Day in the Life of Ems', I am intrigued. Most of you will be well aware about my recent problem with dark circles and puffy eyes, and Em assures her readers that this product really does the job, so I really do feel the need to try this out and see if it's really up to it!
After creating my Wishlist this week, I saw lots of gorgeous little makeup sets over on the Benefit Cosmetics site, and I'm really annoyed that I hadn't seen them before. Here are the two I am the most eager to get my hands on:

This cute little set contains everything you need for flawless skin, including The Porefessional Pro Balm (which I've already got in a sample size, but having seen how well it counters oil on the forehead I am ready to restock), a mini Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow foundation, Boi-ing 02 and 03 Industrial Strength Concealer and Hello Flawless powder.
I love these kits and think they make fantastic presents. I will definitely be popping this one on my Christmas wishlist (too early?) and checking out the rest of the selection for friends.

Is it just me, or have you already started thinking about Christmas goodies too!?
Hope you're having a lovely weekend!

Desire of the Day #2

Coral Spiked Loafers, £24.99, Own the Runway

I know I said that I was probably going to keep these posts for beauty products, but what the hell. This is what I am desiring today, so I am going to post about it!

As most of you will probably know, I have gone a bit spike and stud mad in recent weeks - you only have to look back at my past three Weekend Wishlist posts for evidence! I don't know what it is about them, but I just love the way you can take a feminine, floral fabric or a soft, pretty colour and toughen them up with a spot of studding. I adore that contrast. I suppose it's a little bit reminiscent of how we started singing on leather bikers and tough boots over the top of pretty dresses a few years back. I'm still not tired of that look, even now, and studs are a great way of bringing it bang up to date.

You will probably also be aware of my love for all things coral if you are a regular reader, so obviously these little beauties are my absolute dream combo, shoe-ified. The only downside is that I'm a bit of a shortie, and will usually be found wearing heels, but somehow I just haven't felt the same way about studded heels as I have the flat pumps and loafers I've seen. In all honesty, I probably won't be buying these, because whenever I have bought flats in the past, they have always, no matter how beautiful, ended up unworn. Unworn, but loved, I might add, but that's not really good enough, is it? I just feel that I look much more in proportion when wearing heels, even small ones, so I suppose I am going to have to lust after them from afar.

They are perfect though, aren't they?

Dear Topshop
Just stop it, will you? Everything I want this week is from your New In section. And I want everything from your New In section this week!
STOP with all the gorgeous stud detailing and beautiful collar necklaces. I already have far too many of your embellished denim shorts on my wishlist, and now this. And as for those gorgeous bags, will you just look what you have done to me? Not one, but TWO on my list. Make it stop, I beg of you.

Hello everyone, I hope you've had a lovely weekend!
In case you haven't guessed, yes, everything on this week's Wishlist is, indeed, from Topshop! I don't know what it is with them at the moment, they seem to go through stages where there is not much I would buy (since they boosted their prices quite substantially!) and others where I literally do want everything. Now is definitely the latter. I have always loved Topshop, but they've got so expensive lately, so I try to avoid shopping there for the most part, though I used to get most of my wardrobe from there in the past! I know I've mentioned my love of all things studded on here before, and when I clicked on the 'New In' butoon this week, I was greeted with an abundance of absolute must-have studded pieces that just had to be on this list!
I really want to wear the grey jumper with the studded shorts and black studded bag, though I think it might be stud overkill! The detailing on the sweater is quite subtle though, so I reckon I could get away with it, and maybe throw on the skull scarf for the perfect relaxed weekend look.
I'm sorry Mr. Credit Card, but some of these bits are coming home with me. Deal with it.

What's on your Wishlist this week?

xx
